My Sister’s Keeper

In 2018, a team of performing scholars conceived and developed the “My Sister’s Keeper” project to explore African American women composers through the lens of African American women musicians. Drs. Minnita Daniel Cox, Alexis Davis-Hazell, Marcia Porter, and Rosalyn Wright Floyd have presented for national audiences via the National Association of Teachers of Singing and the National Opera Association and are pleased to present the project’s next chapter.
